SKIING RESORT BANNOYELocation The mountain skiing center is situated on the bank of Bannoye lake (Yakty-Kul) 40km from Magnitogorsk, 3km from "Yubileynyi" resort and 25km from mountain skiing complex "Abzakovo". Skiing The slopes are facing east. The total lengh of tracks is 4900m. This season four tracks are opened in the new mountain skiing center. The first track, 2450m long, from 30 to 60m wide, with the average slope angle of 12-13 degrees, is for skiers with intermediate level of training. The second, 2150m long, is more difficult: the average slope angle is 14 degrees. The third track, 300m long, is for beginners. The fourth is a special HI-FI track. The tracs are equipped with snow covering system produced by the Italian firm "Technoalpine". Elevators The slopes are equipped with gondola-type elevators produced by "Doppelmeier" (Austria) and a bow elevator produced by "Tatrapoma" (Slovakia). There are 64 booths for eight seats each on the high-speed gondola elevator. Its length is 1700m; the output is 2800 people per hour.
