One more regular flight to Stuttgart appeared
Since June, 19 German Airline DBA will carry out regular flights to Stuttgart from Domodedovo three times a week at Fokker-100. A little earlier, since April, 1, Airbus-319 of German low-cost-carrier Germanwings started weekly flights there (on Saturdays). In spring some tour operators said that one aircraft to Stuttgart was completely sufficient. Now transportation there will noticeably increase. But the representatives of DBA consider that there will not be any excess and their calculations will justify. «Potential of the region, competition in this direction were studied in DBA and they considered it economically sound to make flights to Stuttgart precisely with this periodicity, - says Vitaliy Korenyugin, the specialist of PR group of «EAST LINE» company (co-owner of Domodedovo airport). - Fokker-100 places one hundred people, if it is loaded at least for 70% transportation will be already profitable ". According to Mr. Korenyugin, the airline is planning even to increase the periodicity of flights or to place more spacious aircraft. The company specifies that they do not stake on tourists in this case but on businessmen and private persons. Actually, according to experts’ opinion, although Stuttgart has tourist attractiveness but it is not ‘untwisted’ at the Russian market. «There is potential for sightseeing tourism: the Mercedes plant, Shvartsvald, The Bodensee, Baden-Baden and number of other health resorts are located next to Stuttgart.
