10 new hotels will be opened in Ekaterinburg till the end of the year

The city Committee on Public Services reported on this fact to the Ural Tourist Server. The hotel ‘Voznesenskaya», «City-hotel», «Eurotel» and the second stage of the «Atrium Palace Hotel» will come into operation. 7 more projects are on reconstruction. The hotels facultative certification is continued. Thus far only «Uralsky Dvor» hotel has passed the rating and got four stars.  The hotels «Vis-a-Vis», «Premier-Hotel», «Antey», «Aleksandrovsky Park Hotel», «Eurotel», «Izumrud-Hotel», «Uktus» are making up protocols for certification. Tatiana Gushchina top specialist of the Committee on Public Services told about realization of the strategic project «Hotels of Ekaterinburg» at the conference with the deputies of the heads of districts. This project assumes guarantee of international standards of hotel service in the city, increase of hotels occupancy rate, creation of new jobs in hotel business. Thus, in 2006 within the framework of the strategic project a study tour on the Ekaterinburg hotels was made for the educational institutions instructors in «Service and tourism» specialty, and also advertising tour on the new hotels and «economy» class hotels for the representatives of travel companies.
