It is decided to depreserve the 501 construction project
A question is settled of new railroad line construction - Polunochnoye Obskaya station and the completion (restoration) of the railroad line - Labytnangi (Obskaya) Salekhard Nadym (jetty head), more known as construction 501. The construction of this section has already been executed from 1948 to 1953, at the same time working movement of trains started. The construction was preserved in 1953. Design and research works will be started within the bounds of the Priuralskiy and Nadymskiy regions. As «Yamal -Inform» reports with the reference to the assistant for the Head of Administration MO Priuralskiy region Irina Kozlova, the designed railroad line is major part of the mega-project «the Urals Industrial the Urals Polar», main designation of which is transport support of industrial development and operation of ore, coal and hydrocarbon fields of the Polar and Subpolar Urals and adjacent territories. The restoration of the railroad of Labytnangi (Obskaya) Salekhard Nadym (jetty head) is the part of the promising railroad line of Tchum Salekhard Igarka Norilsk. In the process of building the roadbed of the 501 construction will be used. The route will pass in the bounds of Labytnangi and Salekhard cities. The time of the construction of railroad main line is 6-8 years. During this period it is planned to build the large bridges across the rivers of Ob and Nadym, combined with highways. The railroad line Polunochnoye Obskaya will be single-track with the length of 790 km in the rough, with 28 crossing loops and four through stations of Sosva, Semya, Khulga, Voykar. The construction will be realized in two stages. The projected period of construction is 10 years. Transportation load at transportation corridor will be 17 mln tonn per year southwards and 2 mln tonn per year northwards. Railway spur will be maintained by five thousand rotation workers. The customer of the grand project is Open Joint Stock Company «Yamal railroad company». The sources of funds for the project are budgets of YNAO and Federation and also private investors. Vsluh.ru.
