Natural-historic complex will be created in Abalak
The governor of Tyumen Oblast Vladimir Yakushev signed resolution «About creation of complex reservation of regional value «Abalaksky natural-historic complex». Area of the protected territory makes 87, 2 thousand ha and it is divided into 3 zones - preserved, recreational and zone of cultural landscape. Each functional zone sets its own regime of special protection. The creation of reserve will help to preserve unique natural complexes and objects in their natural state. Landscape and standard natural zones of southern Irtysh taiga with the whole variety of peculiar flora and fauna will be protected there. Including for example, Abalaksky wintering pit of Siberian sturgeon, white salmon, sterlet, the stows of Bardino, Bobrovka, Belkinsky Log, lake-and-marsh complex Tchistoye – Tsarevo and so on. In the zone of cultural landscape special attention will be given to such objects of cultural heritage as Abalaksky monastery ensemble, Preobrazhensky church in Preobrazhenka village, «Kuchumovo» gorodische - ancient capital of Siberian khanate, and other monuments. The reserve will make it possible not only to preserve natural and historical riches of our region but also to provide conditions for their study and restoration.
