Flights to Ulan-Ude will be carried out at military airfield
Since September 18 flights to Ulan-Ude will be carried out at military airfield Vostochny. This is a temporary measure before the completion of reconstruction of flight strip of civil airport. Navigation equipment was prepared at the military airfield and temporary baggage terminal was built. The use of Vostochny will make it possible to make direct long-distance flights from Ulan-Ude. Until now during the period of reconstruction it was possible to fly from civil airport only to adjacent cities on small aircrafts, capable of taking off from the soil, and only after it to make a change for a distant flight.
