Russian vodka museum
National museum of Russian vodka will be opened in the restored customs warehouses of Moscow Vodka Distillery «Crystal» in the beginning of October. Permanent exposition of the museum includes 5 thousand exhibits – buckets («vedro»), bottles, sherry-glasses («lafitniki»), plant machines, vessels and so on, narrating about the history of vodka from Peter the First times to the present day. The oldest exhibit of the museum is an ancient green bottle of the beginning of XVIII century. Some also interesting exhibits are decanter and wineglasses that belonged to Fyodor Shalyapin, shtof painted by court artist Elizabeth Bem, and the first in the world glass with engraving of Belgian factory «San-Lambert».
