Russian icons museum was opened in the USA
In Clinton city located not far from Boston, North America's first museum of Russian icons was opened. As ITAR-TASS reports, the founder of museum - American businessman Gordon Lankton – collected 260 icons, the majority of which was purchased during his tours of Russia. Experts note that among the exhibits there are some very valuable. In the new American museum only half of Lankton’s collection is exhibited.
