Business of China is learning investment possibilities in Tyumen region


Beijing. Tyumen region is characterized by high dynamics of foreign trade turnover. In 2005 it amounted to 7 bln 244 mln dollars. This is 4 bln dollars more than in 2004. Investments in fixed assets are growing rapidly: from 1, 2 bln dollars in 2004 to 1, 8 bln dollars into 2005. Forecast for this year is 2, 2 bln dollars. The governor of Tyumen Oblast Vladimir Yakushev stated these facts at URFO presentation «Invest in Ural Ffederal District» which passed in a conference hall of the Chinese Center of International Trade. Vladimir Yakushev described the advantages of geographical location, raw reserves, labour and energy potential of Tyumen Oblast, investment opportunities and conditions created for the realization of investment projects. Examples of such projects can be Antipinsky oil refinery, the international training and production center of dairy cattle husbandry, the plants under construction for the production of bio-diesel fuel, the wood-processing works. Within the framework of tourism development in the region it is planned the international class hotels construction (Marriott, Radisson (SAS Residor), Ibis (Accor Group), Domina Hotels & Resorts) etc. The total number of projects is more than 60, and the sum of investments in their realization will be about 4 bln dollars. Also the Head of the region fixed on the investment priorities of the government of Tyumen Oblast and invited the leaders of the concerned enterprises and companies of C.P.R.
