Deputy Head of MFA CPR declared the year of Russia in China successful
The year of Russia in China arrangements were unprecedented on dimensions and passed with great success, the assistant Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of C.P.R. (in the rank of Deputy Minister) Lee Khuey stated at the press conference in the press office of the Gossoviet of C.P.R. (Chinese Peoples' Republic). Speaking about the results of the year of Russia Lee Khuey called them «positive» and he emphasized that because of this event «mutual political confidence is strengthened» noticeably. Diplomat highly estimated the reached level of commercial and economic cooperation between C.P.R. and RF. He reminded that during the year presentations of Russian federal districts and regions were made regularly, economic forum took place and Russian national exhibition will pass in November. «In the first 9 months of this year commodity turnover between our countries already reaches $24,64 billion, which is 18,8% more than over the same period of the last year ", - emphasized Lee Khuey. «If this rate of growth is maintained we can satisfy our objective of increasing by 2010 the bilateral turnover to $60-80 billion before the appointed time", - stated Lee Khuey. The diplomat said that solemn ceremony of the year of Russia in China closing will pass on November 9 in the building of China National People’s Congress. Heads of C.P.R. and RF governments will participate in this ceremony.
