Golden Baikal

Day 1 Arrival in Irkutsk. Transfer to Listvyanka settlement on Lake Baikal by minibus. Boarding the ship, breakfast on board. Brief excursion around Listvyanka Settlement with visiting Limnological museum, seals Aquarium with Baikal endemic seal, and Holly Christ Church. Lunch on board of the motor-ship/ visiting the legendary Circum Baiakal Railroad, a wonderful architectural monument of the Russian railway, constructed at the beginning of the 20th century. Supper. Sauna.

Day 2 Breakfast. Boarding the ship. Transition to Sandy Bay (it will take 6 h), Famous stilted trees, picturesque view at the lake from rocks. Two-hours hiking by the rock road, which is up the smooth of Lake Baikal to Sennaya Bay. Upon request, banya (Russian steam bath). Overnight.

Day 3 Early transition to Olkhon Island, wich is a famous historical Buryat place (9-10 hours) En route visiting Sagan-zaba Rock with ancient rock paintings. Overnight on board at one of the warmest places amongthe bays of the shallow Sea.

Day 4 Excursion around the islands. Visiting Shaman Rock at Olkhon Island – one of the most beautiful places on Lake Baikal

Day 5 Visiting the northern part of Olkhon Island. Excursion around the Olkhon Island and Islands of the small sea. In the evening – banya (Russian steam bath)

Day 6 Breakfast. Transfer to Irkutsk by minibus (250 kilometers, it will take 5h). Accommodation in Baikal Hotel, situated in Irkutsk on the shore of Angara River. Evening farewell dinner in Vietnamese restaurant.
