How to get to Yekaterinburg

There are many ways you can get to Yekaterinburg from overseas.

By air

The most common way to get to Yekaterinburg is to get to Moscow first. There are daily flights to Moscow, to Domodedovo airport by Ural Airlines and TransAero and to Sheremetyevo airport by Aeroflot. For more details, read here.

You also can fly to Tyumen from Beijing, Deli, Seoul, and Bangkok via Tashkent on Tuesdays (departure time – 18.55, arrival time – 00.40).
From Tyumen you can continue your flight to some northern cities such as Surgut, Salekhard, Noyabrsk, Nizhnevartovsk.

Tyumen is also a stop on the Trans-Siberian Railway. There are daily trains to Moscow and many other cities and towns in Russia from the Tyumen Railway station. You also can take train to get to the northern cities such as Surgut, Salekhard, Noyabrsk, Nizhnevartovsk.

Attention: Since September 12 airline «UTair» opens new international regular flight «Tyumen-Munich». The flights will be carried out twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.

How to get to Perm

By AIR

Through Perm airport "Bolshoye Savino" has connections with a large number of cities, among which Moscow and St. Petersburg. Aeroflot flies to Perm from Moscow Sheremtyevo-1 Airport daily. Perm's own PermAvia flies to Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) twice per day. Flight time is 2 hours.
Direct international scheduled flights to Perm are limited: currently only Frankfurt (by Lufthansa).
PermAvia, in co-operation with Pulkovo Airlines operate flights between Perm and St. Petersburg at least twice per week, but frequency is announced to be increased in the near future.

By TRAIN

The Trans Siberian Railroad goes through Perm, making the city perfectly accessible by train. Connections with Moscow are excellent. Every day, some 10 trains from Moscow roll into the Perm II Train Station. This journey takes around 24 hours (depending on the train) and is an experience on its own.
